Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of AI processing capacity. Using Relay's default model (Claude Sonnet), Starter handles around 155 AI-drafted replies per month, Pro around 490 (≈3× Starter), and Ultra around 1,330 (≈3× Pro). You can also switch to faster or more powerful models — lighter models stretch your allowance further, heavier ones use it faster. Your dashboard shows exactly what you've used.

Every paid plan includes 1 mailbox. Extra mailboxes can be added at any time for $12.50/month each — you purchase slots before connecting. Starter includes 1 user seat (perfect for solopreneurs). Pro supports up to 10 team members. Ultra has unlimited seats. The free plan includes 1 mailbox in read-only mode.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — no surprise charges. You can also return to the free plan at any time.

Email keeps arriving normally — only AI features (drafting, chat) pause. We'll alert you at 80% and 100% usage. You can top up your wallet at any time without upgrading your plan. We never auto-charge for overage.

No. Every AI-generated draft requires your review and approval before sending. Relay is built around the approve-before-send workflow — you stay in control of every reply that goes out.

Yes. All email content is encrypted in transit and at rest. Mailbox access uses Google OAuth and Microsoft OAuth — we never store your password. Your emails are never used to train AI models.

Relay requests read and send permissions via OAuth. This lets Relay monitor your support inbox, generate draft replies, and optionally send them on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time from your Google or Microsoft account settings.
